NoteBuilder is a web-based tool for generating text for clinical notes - either inpatient or outpatient. I originally wrote this to serve as a checklist, to remind myself of things like starting an H2 blocker or PPI whenever I give steroids for a COPD exacerbation. Over time, it has evolved into a little more, and I use it to emit a lot of boilerplate for common medical plans.

You generate the text for a note in the web page, then copy and paste it into your electronic medical record. This lack of integration brings with it platform-independance, and I have used this with Epic, Cerner, CPRS, Sunrise, and IU's G3.

Some personal notes for common medical issues, more weighted toward renal.

Silicon Valley

This is a brief tour of some of the software companies and places in Silicon Valley. I lived and worked in Silicon Valley off and on between 1991 and 2008 and these are some of the places from that time of Web 1.0 and 2.0.

Some of the furniture I built between 1999 and 2004. It's not everything, but it includes some of the larger pieces. Does not yet include anything built after 2017.
